Nick and Jake, born and raised in St. Louis suburb, Florissant, Missouri, have long shared a passion for growing everything under the sun.

It was at EarthDance Organic Farm School's apprenticeship program where they began to learn the ropes of market farming and experimented growing summer favorites at any vacant plot they could get their (green) thumbs on. Tucked away at a friend's property, under a wild thorned rose bush as big as an orchard apple tree, lied a couple hundred heads of what would soon be identified as a purple stripe hardneck garlic, presumably Russian Red. The duo doubled down and planted their bounty year after year, with 2023 marking their inaugural seed offering to the garlic aficionados of the world.
